Standish Food Pantry Is Closed Indigenous Peoples’ Day, October 11th

Welcomes everyone!
[Standish and the surrounding area]

Standish Food Pantry distributes food out of our permanent home: 410 Northeast Rd, Standish, Maine (formerly the Sebago Congregational Church).  We retured to a shopping model where patrons are allowed inside to select what items they want.  Masks (covering nose and mouth) must be worn by all who enter the Pantry.

There is a limit on the number of people who may enter the building at the same time; we serve everyone, no residency or income restrictions and no ID or other documentation required.  Registration will be done on-site as you enter the Pantry.  Those picking up food for households other than your own should be prepared to provide names and ages for those in the household for which food is being picked up.

Pantry hours: Mondays 9:30 am-10:30 am, Wednesdays 4:00 pm-6:30 pm.

WHAT WE DO:
~ Every Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 and every Wednesday from 4:00 to 6:30 pm, we pack boxes of food for drive-thru pickup.
~ Senior Boxes— Each month, the Standish Food Pantry provides eligible aging adults with a free 30-pound box of food. Suggested pick-up for the Senior Boxes is the first Wednesday of the month.
Kids’ Corner — Every Wednesday during the regular Food Pantry, we offer children school day snacks and healthy, easy-to-prepare food for weekends and school vacations when the school meals they may rely on are unavailable.  This program is offered in partnership with Casco Federal Credit Union.

Our food comes in from a variety of sources. We partner with Hannaford, Wayside Food Programs, Good Shepherd Food Bank, local farmers, retailers, and others to pick up a large variety of products regularly.

Standish Food Pantry prohibits discrimination in all its programs and member agencies on the basis of race, color, citizenship, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, age, marital status, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, unfavorable discharge from the military, citizenship status, or status as a protected veteran.
